Had to remove all phpAds coockies to return to phpclasses.org.

Sending cookies may happen if you are viewing ads in an environment on which Javascript is disabled.

The site only serves ads that may send cookies on ads that are displayed in newsletters. Could you have been seeing many messages in a Web mail service?

Thanks for your reply. You're right: using NoScript add-in, javascripts are allowed for phpclasses.org only, all others blocked (a.o. google-analytics, sitemeter, marketbanker, tribalfusion, fastclick). So it looks like a problem created by your advertisers.

That cannot be the problem because the cookies that you have displayed seem to be from the PHPClasses site ad server.

Actually looking at your initial report, I noticed that it states that the server domain is null.phpclasses.org . That is a bogus virtual host that is configured to handle requests to the server domain IP.

I don't know what your browser is doing but it seems that it is resolving the site IP and performing direct requests to it instead of www.phpclasses.org or any other supported sub-domains. I suspect that your browser extensions are causing this odd behavior.

Thanks again. Firefox and all add-ons were updated recently, maybe now the problem is solved. Looking back, the problem occurred only in the session when I subscribed to your network site, in later sessions there were no problems. If it occurs again, I'll let you know.
